Peter & Sarah

Peter and Sarah continue to enjoy Traverse City, MI.  Peter still works remotely for Barr Engineering here in Bloomington, MN.  He works on stream restoration projects and other projects impacting water quality.  He has to come to Minnesota every two to three months which his parents love.  Last year’s cancellation of the Birkebeiner was a big disappointment to both Peter and Sarah, but he is hoping and training for that race again in 2018.   Sarah continues to work as a physical therapist at the hospital in Traverse City.  Sarah is also going to ski a race at the Birkie this year.  Besides the PT work she is getting really good at taking the kids on local adventures to the dunes and other places.

Jonah, now a 1st grader is loving school.  He was worried about spelling at first but is “rocking spelling.”  Greta is a “senior” at preschool.  She will be five in February.  She is constantly telling stories and going on adventures.  As she says “I want to be tough, but a little bit fancy.”  She is quite excited to be able to go to kindergarten next year.
