Bryan got accepted to medical school at the Rosalind Franklin University in North Chicago, the Chicago Medical School.  He found out just as we left to drive out for the Stelzer reunion in Colorado.  It made for a pretty exciting drive, with him calling and talking to many of his friends as we drove.  His circle of St. Olaf friends reconnected him with a friend who is now his roommate in Chicago.  Meanwhile Suzi started exploring job opportunities and where to live in Chicago.  She is sharing a condo with her best friend, Lucy, from high school who was just transferring to Northwestern University.  She started an ‘entry-level’ position with Illinois Eye-Bank in Chicago.  Now she does have to do a fair amount of paperwork, but part of the job is also to go and procure eyes (corneas) that are being donated.  Not bad at all for an entry level position.  They are adjusting to life in Chicago.  Their most exciting news came January 18, 2009, when they became engaged!  More to come on plans and a date.  What an exciting challenge!
