I am enjoying retirement.  I still teach residents in family medicine about once a month.  I have been able to keep busy working on projects around the house, reading, biking or Nordic tracking.  I’ve been out a few times cross country skiing and hope to do that more with our recent snow.  Working on the family genealogy continues to be fun but does take quite a bit of time, updating each of the different branches as I find out more information.  In October 2022, Judy and I were able to drive down to Augusta, Missouri to attend the Knoernschild reunion there.  It was fun to be able to reconnect with some of the distant relatives and meet ones we hadn’t met at the previous reunion.   This next summer we hope to have our Stelzer family reunion in Colorado
